Red Light Therapy & Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Why it helps

SAD is triggered by reduced sunlight during fall and winter. Less light means the brain makes less serotonin (mood-stabilizing hormone) and more melatonin (sleep hormone), which affects energy, mood, and motivation.
