The company you choose early in your career matters more than you think!

At RPI, you won’t be rushed, burned out, or stuck going through the motions. You’ll be mentored, challenged, and given the space to actually become the clinician you want to be.

Here’s what that looks like:
✔ True 1-on-1 patient care (no overlap, ever)
✔ Structured mentorship that continues well beyond onboarding
✔ Unlimited continuing education — we invest in your growth, not limit it
✔ Autonomy to treat how you believe is best
✔ A team that holds a high standard and actually enjoys showing up every day

Whether you’re a student looking for the right place to start, or a PT ready for something better — this is where you grow.

If you’re serious about becoming a high-level clinician, we should talk.

You may have noticed a new face around the clinic recently, so we wanted to introduce you all to Sutton!

Sutton is currently in his 3rd year of the DPT program at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN and will graduate in May. He is an Olney, IL native. He loves lifting weights, running, hunting, playing golf and watching movies with his fiancé, Mallory.

Fun fact- while Parker may be helping teach Sutton a thing or two during this rotation, Sutton's dad used to be Parker's biology and science teacher. Full circle moment!

Still think lifting weights will make you too ‘bulky’? 👀 That myth is holding a lot of women back from getting stronger, healthier, and more confident. The truth might surprise you. Megan Gibson breaks this down on our latest blog post!

Read here:

I remember playing sports in middle school and high school and being afraid to lift weights because I didn’t want to “look manly.” I’d heard over and over again that girls who lifted would lose their figure and start to look like boys. As a physical therapist with a background in exercise sc...

Happy Birthday, Hannah! 🎉

Hannah is the reason our days run smoothly — and why our snack drawer is never empty. She somehow keeps our stress low while keeping everything (and everyone) on track.

She loves warm weather, time with her family, and cheering at sporting events whenever she gets the chance. And no matter what’s going on, Hannah is always the first to step up and help however she can.

We hope you have the best birthday!

Should kids be strength training? 🤔 It’s one of the most common questions we get—and the answer might surprise you! Jenna Gourlay breaks down what’s safe, what’s not, and how to get your child started the right way 👇

Give it a read, and share with someone who may be asking the same question!

“Is strength training safe for kids? As a Physical Therapist, I get this question from parents more than any other. Since I was a physical education teacher and coach in 2010, I’ve heard many concerns about strength training and children. Many still worry it could stunt growth or cause injury—...

What's the best way to take care of patients? 🤔 Take care of the team first! This philosophy shapes everything we do at RPI. Patients feel the difference — and clinicians do too. Morgan Weinzapfel digs deeper into this on our latest blog post- check it out!

In healthcare, you often hear the phrase “patients come first.” And of course they should. But at RPI, we believe something important comes before even that. Great patient care starts with taking care of the people providing it. Physical therapy is a relationship-based profession. It requires li...

BIG NEWS for our clinic family here in Olney, Illinois — we’re growing and looking to add another PT to the team! 👋

One of the things that makes this clinic special is the person leading it. Our Clinic Director, Parker Mitchell, was born and raised right here in Richland County. This community helped shape who he is, and he cares deeply about taking care of the people who live here.

For Parker, this isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to serve his hometown, help his neighbors move and feel better, and build something meaningful for the community that raised him.

At RPI, we believe great care starts with giving our clinicians the time and support to truly connect with patients. And when that happens in a place like Olney — where relationships already matter so much — it makes the work even more rewarding.

So if you’re a PT (or know a great one) who would love the chance to work in a clinic led by someone who genuinely loves this community, we’d love to connect.

Come join Parker and our team as we keep caring for Olney. 💙

Youth baseball injuries are rising — but many are preventable. ⚾️🥎

In Part 2 of our series, Jake Sullivan, one of our PTs that specializes in baseball, breaks down three key ways to keep young athletes healthy and on the field this season.

If you’re a parent, coach, or player, this is a must-read‼️
