Due to the demolition on Main Street, Olney EyeCare will not be accessible from our Main Street entrance. All patients will need to enter from the back door which will be unlocked during regular business hours.

🚧 Heads up! Due to the building demolition across the street, a section of Main Street from Fair Street to Boone Street will be temporarily blocked.

We are still open and accessible with parking a bit further down on Main Steet. Thank you for your patience! 😊

For public safety, Main Street will be closed beginning at 1:30 p.m. today, December 17, 2025, and until further notice, due to the demolition of a privately owned commercial building in the downtown area.

Closure limits:
Main Street from Whittle Avenue to Boone Street

This closure is being implemented solely as a safety precaution while demolition work is underway. The project is being conducted by the property owner, not the City; however, the City is coordinating traffic control to help ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and nearby properties.

We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as this necessary safety measure is put in place. Updates will be shared as soon as the street can be reopened.

Unbeknownst to us until after the polling had concluded, Dr. DeShon thought it'd be a fun idea yesterday to poll his patients on which pie is better, pecan pie or apple pie.
