Whole Health Naturopathy

Whole Health Naturopathy Compassionate and attentive family medicine, taking care of people since 2007. We love people, we love what we do, and it shows in how we practice medicine.

The doctors at Whole Health Naturopathy are committed to providing attentive, compassionate, and quality medical care for you and your family. We approach each patient as an individual, not as a diagnosis. We take the time to get to know the person in front of us so that we can develop a treatment plan that is the least harmful, most gentle, and most effective for you or your child. We are budget conscious and accept many insurance plans. As licensed Naturopathic Physicians in the State of Washington, we act as both a primary care physician and a natural medicine specialist. We treat people of all ages and most conditions. We are trained and experienced in the foundations of naturopathic medicine and focus our practice on balancing the power of natural medicines with evidence-based treatments. We are unique in that we have a sizable in-house botanical medicine dispensary that allows the doctors to make individualized formulas for healing, which are a powerful supplement to nutrient therapy, diet and lifestyle counseling, and homeopathic medicines. As licensed doctors in Washington State, we can prescribe most medications when needed. Also, by partnering with some of the most trust-worthy vitamin and supplement manufacturers on the market, we can offer our patients access to a wide range of high-quality and reliable practitioner-grade supplements through our online dispensary.

Today is World Homeopathy Day, honoring the birth of Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, the German physician who founded the system of homeopathy in the late 18th century. Homeopathy is a sophisticated form of natural medicine that works by supporting the body’s own healing abilities. Rather than focusing only on a diagnosis or a single symptom, homeopathy looks at the whole person - how symptoms show up uniquely in each individual and what they reveal about underlying imbalance.

At Whole Health Naturopathy, homeopathy is one of the many tools our doctors use to support patients in restoring balance and strengthening the body’s natural defenses. Our providers are deeply committed to continuing education in this field. For example, Dr. Marnie has studied with the New England School of Homeopathy for more than 20 years and is currently participating in a year-long advanced course focused on prescribing remedies for acute illness! This ongoing study helps refine the tools she uses to support patients when short-term illnesses arise.

Naturopathic medicine is about meeting each patient where they are and drawing from a variety of healing traditions, including homeopathy, to support long-term wellness. On World Homeopathy Day, we celebrate the long history of this healing system and the practitioners dedicated to keeping its knowledge alive. 🌿

April 7 is World Health Day, a reminder that health isn’t just about treating illness when it appears. It’s about caring for your body, mind, and lifestyle every day. 🌎💚

At Whole Health Naturopathy, we believe your doctor should be more than someone you see when you’re sick. Your doctor should be a partner in your health journey! Naturopathic medicine focuses on understanding the whole picture: your lifestyle, your nutrition, your stress and sleep, your long-term health goals, the list goes on.

Instead of quick fixes, we work alongside you to uncover the root causes of symptoms and build a personalized plan that supports lasting wellness. This World Health Day, we invite you to think about healthcare differently - not just as treatment, but as a collaborative path toward better health. Your health is a journey, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. 🌿

💚 Happy National Doctors’ Day: March 30 💜

Today, Dr. Frisch would like to take a moment to share her deep appreciation for the 3 incredible doctors she has the privilege of working alongside every day. Family practice is not an easy field of medicine, it requires heart, dedication, flexibility, and an unwavering commitment to patients.

Over the past month especially, these doctors have stepped up in big ways while one was away on medical leave, going above and beyond to support both our patients and one another.

To our amazing doctors: thank you for your compassion, your expertise, and the care you bring to this community. We are so grateful for each of you. 😊

Jess and Rebecca understood the assignment. 😏 From overperforming to telling dad jokes to patients… the accusations are flying (lovingly, of course 😉). We’re so grateful for the heart, humor, and dedication our support staff bring to the clinic every single day. Whole Health wouldn’t run the same without them! 💜

Struggling with spring allergies? This is one of our go-to supports. 🌼 Mountain Peak Nutritionals Aller G Plus™ is a formula we often recommend during allergy season to help support the sinus and respiratory system.

Here’s why we love it:
🌿 Citrus bioflavonoids (like quercetin, rutin and hesperidin) support cellular health and capillary integrity
🌿 Stinging nettle leaf supports the nasal passages and upper respiratory system
🌿 Bromelain helps support sinus and nasal comfort

If pollen has you feeling congested, foggy, or just ~over it~, this is one of the first places we often start. And good news: you don’t have to be a current Whole Health patient to purchase supplements like this from our clinic. Just give us a call and we’ll happily set one aside for you. 💚 360-943-9519

As always, if you’re unsure what’s right for you, we’re here to help guide you! Please note that it’s important to check with your current provider before starting any new supplements.

“It’s my stomach!”… Is it though? 👀

In this Abdominal Anatomy 101 installment, Dr. Stacie explains why abdominal pain isn’t always what it seems! There’s a lot going on in that midsection. Understanding the why is key to feeling better. 💚

Have questions about abdominal pain? We’re here to help.

✨ Welcome Back, Dr. Alexis! ✨

We are so happy to share that Dr. Alexis has now returned to work from medical leave. We’ve missed her so much! 💚 She’ll be easing back into her regular responsibilities over the coming weeks, and patients can now begin booking appointments with her again.

Thank you for your patience and support during her time away. We’re so grateful for this community and are thrilled to have Dr. Alexis back in the clinic doing what she loves. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome back! 🌿

For women in midlife who feel like they’re standing at a turning point, this may be something worth exploring! 🌿💜 Our own Dr. Marnie highly recommends the Vital U program, created by naturopathic physician, therapist, and award-winning author Dr. Deborah Zucker (Vital Medicine with Dr. Deborah Zucker). Dr. Marnie participated in this program about 10 years ago and found it to be a truly meaningful and transformative experience.

Vital U is a 9-month, physician-guided journey designed to help women navigate the powerful transitions of midlife, with a focus on understanding what’s happening in your body, reconnecting with your energy, and finding clarity in what comes next.

If you’ve been feeling worn down, in transition, or simply ready for something new, this supportive program may be a wonderful opportunity. The early bird deadline is April 1, so now is a great time to learn more and see if it’s a good fit for you. Learn more and schedule a complimentary Midlife Vitality Map session with Dr. Deborah to explore the program: https://vitalmedicine.com/vital-u/

Sniffly? Congested? Fighting off something? 🌬️ Dr. Alexis shares why nasal saline should be your best friend during cold, flu and allergy season. It's a simple way to help clear out irritants, mucus, and support your sinuses when they need it most. 😌

Spring is nearly here and so are the allergies! 🌸 Just as cold and flu season finally starts to wind down, allergy season rolls right in. If you’re already reaching for tissues, you’re not alone. 🤧 And if it feels like allergies have been getting worse in recent years, you’re not imagining it. Warmer temperatures and longer growing seasons are linked to higher pollen counts and longer allergy seasons. 😫

We’re resharing an oldie-but-a-goodie blog post with helpful reminders and natural strategies for managing seasonal allergies. If you’ve tried all the basics and are still struggling, we’re here to help. One of the great things about naturopathic medicine is that we have multiple approaches to support you! ✨🌷
