Rachael Cook is a Licensed Midwife (LM) and Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). She has a solo-practice in the heart of Olympia, WA specializing in home birth. Childbearing is a profound experience which carries significant meaning to the pregnant person and her family, as well as her community. Midwives are trained health professionals and are the most appropriate care providers to attend low risk pregnancies, labor, birth and the postpartum period. The care provided by midwives reflects a deep understanding of the needs of women and newborns as well as the intricate process of labor, birth, mothering, and breastfeeding. New Day Midwifery offers a gentle and individual approach to maternity care while you labor, birth, and spend your postpartum time in the comfort of your own home. New Day Midwifery also offers collaborative care for families planning a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)!
