Today, we celebrate PSW Founder’s Day and the vision that sparked our organization in 1995—a vision grounded in purpose, people, and the belief that healthcare can be better.

At PSW, our mission is to accelerate the transformation of healthcare from volume to value through innovation and collaboration to achieve outcomes that improve the health of our communities. That mission comes to life through egoless action, advocating for innovation, delivering healthcare with humanity, knowing we are better together, and holding ourselves to the simple but powerful standard to do good and be good.
Guiding us forward is a shared vision of healthcare redefined by strong patient provider relationships and a focus on whole person health—care that sees individuals, not just diagnoses.

Founder’s Day is a moment to reflect with gratitude on the people who have carried this mission and vision forward over the years and continue to shape PSW’s impact today. We’re proud of where we began and inspired by what’s ahead.

Happy Founder’s Day, PSW.

March is National Kidney Month

Chronic kidney disease affects more than 1 in 7 American adults, and most don’t know they have it. Specific blood and urine tests are the only way to detect CKD early.

This month, PSW encourages everyone to support kidney health by managing blood pressure, staying active, and getting tested if at risk.

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
Colorectal cancer is highly preventable—and early screening is key.

According to the CDC and the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF):

-Most adults should begin screening at age 45.
-Continue routine screening through age 75.
-For adults 76–85, screening should be individualized based on health, history, and provider guidance.

Early detection saves lives. Encourage your loved ones and community members to talk with their healthcare provider about screening options.

Don’t forget—Daylight Saving

Time begins this weekend!
We “spring forward” by turning clocks one hour ahead. It’s a good reminder to check things like smoke alarm batteries and adjust sleep schedules to ease the transition.

Here’s to longer days and a brighter season ahead! ☀️

Health Care Value Week may be wrapping up, but the work continues every day.

This week highlighted the important work being done by providers across the country delivering care that is high‑quality, patient‑centered, and accessible for everyone. We are proud to be a part of this movement and thankful for the opportunity to connect with so many leaders and innovators in value‑based care.

A heartfelt thank you to Accountable for Health and National Association of ACOs (NAACOS) for your partnership in putting on the Innovation Showcase at the Rayburn House Office Building so that we can connect with political leaders and share our stories. Your work providing these opportunities make a meaningful difference for advancing the value-based care movement.

And thank you to our teams and partners who work every day to improve access, equity, and outcomes. We’re grateful for the work you do.

Here’s to continuing the progress together.
