March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
Colorectal cancer is highly preventable—and early screening is key.

According to the CDC and the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF):

-Most adults should begin screening at age 45.
-Continue routine screening through age 75.
-For adults 76–85, screening should be individualized based on health, history, and provider guidance.

Early detection saves lives. Encourage your loved ones and community members to talk with their healthcare provider about screening options.

Don’t forget—Daylight Saving

Time begins this weekend!
We “spring forward” by turning clocks one hour ahead. It’s a good reminder to check things like smoke alarm batteries and adjust sleep schedules to ease the transition.

Here’s to longer days and a brighter season ahead! ☀️

Health Care Value Week may be wrapping up, but the work continues every day.

This week highlighted the important work being done by providers across the country delivering care that is high‑quality, patient‑centered, and accessible for everyone. We are proud to be a part of this movement and thankful for the opportunity to connect with so many leaders and innovators in value‑based care.

A heartfelt thank you to Accountable for Health and National Association of ACOs (NAACOS) for your partnership in putting on the Innovation Showcase at the Rayburn House Office Building so that we can connect with political leaders and share our stories. Your work providing these opportunities make a meaningful difference for advancing the value-based care movement.

And thank you to our teams and partners who work every day to improve access, equity, and outcomes. We’re grateful for the work you do.

Here’s to continuing the progress together.

February is American Heart Month

This month is a powerful reminder of how important heart health is for all of us. Heart disease continues to be a leading health challenge, but prevention, awareness, and strong support systems can make a real difference.

American Heart Month encourages us to take simple, meaningful steps: stay active, check in on our health, support loved ones, and make space for conversations about prevention and care.

To the healthcare teams, caregivers, and community partners working every day to improve heart health—thank you for your dedication and impact.

❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️

Today is a perfect reminder that compassion, connection, and community are at the heart of the work we do every day.

Across our organization, we see our values in action:

Egoless Action — showing up with humility and putting people first.
Advocate for Innovation — seeking new ways to support healthier futures.
Healthcare with Humanity — meeting each person with empathy, respect, and understanding.
Better Together — collaborating to create meaningful impact.
Do Good, Be Good — leading with integrity in every interaction.

Valentine’s Day is about more than cards or chocolates — it’s about celebrating the small moments of kindness and the big acts of care that strengthen our teams, uplift our communities, and make our mission possible.

Ambulatory care nursing is about more than clinical skill—it’s about building trusted relationships, supporting patients beyond the hospital walls, and meeting people where they are in their health journey. Every day, these nurses help improve access, strengthen continuity of care, and make an enormous impact on patient experience and outcomes.

To all Ambulatory Care Nurses:

Thank you for your commitment, your compassion, and the difference you make in every interaction. 💙
