You're familiar with the open enrollment period at the end of each year that allows you to get onto a Medicare Advantage plan, but did you know there is another enrollment period?

Medicare Advantage has its own open enrollment period that runs from Jan 1st to March 31. While you cannot switch to an advantage plan from original Medicare, you can switch your Advantage plan or switch to original Medicare during this period.

If the Advantage plan doesn't seem to be meeting your needs as you start the year (or there was a plan change that could or will affect you later in the year, we can help you get to the right plan - but it needs to be soon.

To be clear you can not use Trump RX if you are on medicare.or any insurance, it is only for cash . It does not work like GoodRx.. if you're on insurance like Medicare, you can use a GoodRx coupon and buy your medicine for cash. Sometimes cheaper. The Trump RX does not work like that.

Agents see the writing on the wall. We relate to people and closely pay attention to which carriers "give the farm away" to draw you in.

The weaker companies will not survive this and we'll likely be seeing more of this with other carriers canceling out of the marketplace.

To make sure you are with a solid carrier who will be around, it's best to work with a broker to find the right plan with the right carrier rather than just going for the least expensive or best deal.
