More times than not, nurses stand over or above their patients to care for them. Doing this multiple times a shift can cause neck pain. Do gentle neck stretches throughout your work day or night.

If you feel pain during your stretch, well, stop the stretch! Point is, don't let tension build up in your neck. It not only hurts, but can affect your decision-making. Staying on top of your self-care is a wise investment in yourself!
