There are 4 new yoga classes beginning this month. 1 on Zoom and 3 in-person.

First up is Yoga Nidra… on Zoom! This class can be done on a yoga mat or in your bed!

The goal is to access a mental space of consciousness where you are completely comfortable and relaxed, without falling asleep.

Suggestions for connecting with today’s energy:

🕯- Find a comfy space and light a candle

🕰 For 5 minutes, meditate about the mistakes you’ve made in your past and forgive yourself for not doing/knowing better.

🐛🦋 Then, envision/think/feel about your future and be very specific. If you want to move houses, imagine packing up the boxes, labeling everything, hiring the moving truck etc. Do this for however many minutes you can stay focused for without your mind wandering.

🎂 Lastly, pretend like your 9 years old again about to make a birthday wish. Feel in your heart how bad you want whatever it is you imaged for your future and believe that it can actually happen. Then, open your eyes and blow the candle out ✨

April 30, 2022 - Partial Solar Eclipse / Black Moon / New Moon in Ta**us

Another busy day today as we have the new moon happening in Ta**us. Before we get into what to expect today, let’s break down the terminology a little bit:

What is a solar eclipse? Think of it this way - you have 2 kids standing straight in line with each other. Another kid comes to stand between them and lines up perfectly with them. Ta-da solar eclipse! However, if the middle kiddo decides he wants to see what’s going on in the front of the line and slightly steps out of line, there’s your partial solar eclipse.

As for the Black Moon, there are several explanations on what exactly a Black Moon means, including:

1) The second new moon in a single calendar month (happens approximately every 29 months)

2) The third new moon of a season with 4 New Moons (spring, summer, fall, winter) - this happens approximately every 33 months.

3) When NO new moon occurs in February, resulting in 2 new moons in both January and March - which is what we had this year.

4) When there is NO new moon in February, resulting in double Blue Moons in January and March. The next occurrence of this will be in 2037.

Today, we are experiencing option number 1 - this is the second as the first new moon occurred back on April 1.

Onto this new moon in Ta**us - today is a great day to sit down and take a closer look at your financial situation and your budget. Are there any expenses that you could do without? Do you want to try to save more for a specific goal? Write down your financial plans and goals, not only for this month, but for the year. It’s the perfect time to start thinking about how you are going to get from point A to point B. Not only will this apply to your budget, but this plan also works with any investments, savings plans or any other avenue relating to money. Real estate and properties are also associated with Ta**us energy, so for those looking at trying to get a house in this crazy market, make sure to buckle down and know EXACTLY what you want and what your budget will allow.

On a personal level, this new moon will have us looking at ourselves. Ta**us energy makes us look at our beliefs, values and morals. Are you practicing what you preach? Are you noticing a change of thinking with things you may have believed or valued before? It’s ok to realize that some ways of thinking don't align with what you believe at this point in your life - just acknowledge that and start to implement those new values. With Pluto now retrograde, you may get a double dose of soul searching today. This is a good time to sit down and reintroduce you to yourself and to reconnect to your sensual side. Enjoy some well deserved you time and indulge in some of your favorite things (to an extent of course!).

Planning and manifesting are the name of the game today - give gratitude for the blessings you currently have and start slowly planning the way to your goals!

New Moon in Aries

What better energy to get up and get things accomplished than during a New Moon in Aries during Aries season! As spring is associated with rebirth and new beginnings, so does this New Moon. This is a great time to sit down and think about the year ahead, being this is the first New Moon in the new astrological year. It’s the ultimate clean slate - now it’s up to you to write the story you want.

🌑 Be more adventurous! Try something new that you’ve never done or have been wanting to, but keep talking yourself out of. Be cautious of course - Aries energy is more risk and less worry about consequence.

🌑 Physical exercise - a build up of too much fire sign energy can cause some tempers to flare, so try to implement something physical in your daily routine.

🌑 Want to dye your hair? Go for it! Swap out your wardrobe? Awesome! Now, technically this could be considered a Venus activity, as she rules beauty and luxury. However, Aries being the traditional ruler of the first house of outward appearances makes sense with these sorts of activities.

🌑 Join a recreational sports team - this kind of falls under the physical exercise column, but competitiveness is another trait of Aries energy. This would be another healthy way in getting rid of any excess pent-up fire energy.

🌑 Check in with yourself and reintroduce yourself to you - is there anything you need to work on? What things within yourself are you going to concentrate on this year? Are you getting to be a little too much of something that you know you don’t want to be (gossip, being bossy, angry too quickly, etc). Make a note of these things and try to pay attention each day to see how you are progressing in your journey. Be kind to yourself as well and acknowledge the great things that you bring to the world as well.

🌑 Assert yourself with confidence. Are you afraid of setting boundaries? Do you find it hard to stand up for yourself? This is an excellent time to actively start thinking of these things and trying to work on them. Will it be hard? Of course, but you will never gain more courage and confidence in yourself without at least trying.

The full moon energy is strong between Feb 15-17th. The moon is in Leo, which encourages people to make bold moves, to take some dance breaks, and to pursue new passions — whether it be a new project, or a new romantic interest. Wherever you’re headed this month, go with confidence.

✨🌚If you want to try a full moon ritual, fill up a glass of water and set in by a window where the moon beams can bless it. Then, write down something you want to release or let go of in your life. In the morning, slowly drink the water before the sun comes up. Remind yourself of your intention to let go, and then rip up the paper or burn it. Enjoy the lunar view and energy 🙏🏼💓
