What does the research say about overuse in youth pitchers? These numbers are alarming, but they are preventable with proper management!

Proper management includes: limited pitch count, number of off days, use of recovery tools, throwing mechanics.

APC falls into the recovery tools category but so does sleep, diet, hydration.

Staying active is absolutely the best thing you can be doing, but you also need to recover AND listen to your body.

Oh and make sure you’re drinking water to put your body in the best position to succeed.
