Most men will receive their first floral arrangements at their funeral. As such, I didn’t want this day to end without giving this beautiful human his flowers publicly in the same manner I do privately.

Benjamin is both humble and private; however, I am led to shower him publicly.

After 23 years, this spirit-filled man continues to be the physical manifestation of God’s love for me.

By the grace of God, we do life so well together.

We fail well together.
We rise well together.
We disagree well together.
We do grace well together.
We overcome well together.
We grieve well together.
We do being healthy for ourselves first well together.
We parent mindfully well together.
We cry well together.
We hard well together.
We do genuine show of care and empathy well together.
We do joy well together.
We are vulnerable well together.
We heal well together.
We succeed well together.
We love well together.
We make love well together.
We live well together.
We live our vows out loud well together.
We do the Father’s work well together.

What’s even more precious is that we are the same people, both individually and collectively, whether it’s in private or public. No optical illusion, as we refuse to be a public success, yet a private failure. Our children are witnessing it all and can attest to our being.
