Black History Month is about honoring the leaders who create space for healing, growth, and transformation in our communities. Today, Collective of Color is proud to highlight Dr. LaRhonda Flowers, LIMHP, LADC.
LaRhonda is the founder of Restore Rebuild Reconnect Counseling Center (R3CC), and she is truly the heart behind the mission. With over a decade of experience working with teens, young adults, and adults, she brings compassion, cultural humility, and clinical expertise into every space she enters. Whether supporting individuals navigating trauma, mental health challenges, or substance use recovery, LaRhonda believes deeply in each person’s ability to rebuild and reconnect.
She holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and brings both strategy and heart to her work. In addition to leading R3CC and partnering with local community agencies, LaRhonda also serves as a professor and mentor, shaping the next generation of therapists with care and intention.
Her work reminds us that recovery takes effort, support, and courage—and that transformation is always within reach.
