Meet Carmen,

Happy Birthday Carmen!

We would like to present one of the amazing ladies in our Home Care Advantage family. Carmen Poleo not only attends our Activity Room with friends, but she also receives our services—and we had the pleasure of interviewing her.

Carmen is originally from Venezuela and has been living in Omaha, Nebraska for 20 years. Her favorite hobbies include shopping and attending our Activity Room, where she has been coming for the past 2 years. She loves arriving early to spend time with her friends—talking, laughing, and enjoying coffee before activities begin.

When asked what she would change about the Activity Room, Carmen smiled and said: “Que sea 3 días de la semana” (That it would be 3 days a week!)

We advised you to please check the weather channel before leaving your house, so you can dress and your family accordingly. Weather like this is one of the main reasons why we get sick. 🌞🌬🌧❄

Their hard work and sacrifice had opened doors for other women and always found a way to help anybody whom they come across. I would like to Thank them for always helping us in any way possible. Marzo es el mes de “Historia de Mujeres” y hoy queremos reconocer a las increíbles mujeres que ayudaron a hacer de Home Care Advantage lo que es hoy.

Home Care Advantage fue fundada por mujeres fenomenales: Rosemary Miranda (CEO)y Rebecca Tamayo (COO).

Hello everyone,

Habitat for Humanity is hosting a Homeownership Program Orientation for individuals and families interested in learning more about becoming homeowners. Habitat provides resources, support, and opportunities to help families achieve their dream of homeownership.

At the orientation, you will be able to learn more about the program and pick up an application to begin the process.
Please note that applications are only open for a short period of time, so this is a great opportunity to learn more about the program and see if it may be a good fit for you or someone you know.

Habitat for Humanity estará ofreciendo una Orientación del Programa de Compra de Vivienda para personas y familias interesadas en aprender más sobre cómo convertirse en propietarios de una casa. Habitat ofrece recursos, apoyo y oportunidades para ayudar a las familias a lograr su sueño de tener una vivienda propia.
