We will meet at the trail head at 10am. If you are attending, please let me know so that we know to wait for you. We will then walk to the location where we are spreading the ashes.

My mother, Marcia passed away suddenly on May 14th, 2020. It was at the beginning of COVID, so sadly, we could not hold a service to honor her and the beautiful person she was.

On September 25th, 2023, we hope you will join us as we finally get to celebrate her and say our proper goodbyes. We will be spreading her ashes, as well as my Fathers, Dennis Dean at Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. This is where we would vacation as a family and they both asked that when they pass away, this is where they would be able to rest forever in its beauty.

Immediate family will be arriving on Saturday, Sept 23rd

Location: Rocky Mountain National Park - Bear Lake
Bear Lake Trailhead Entrance - (Main entrance into the park - Bear Lake Ranger Station)
Wear comfy shoes, as we will walk a bit to get to the lake.

If you are flying in: Broomfield Airport is 39 miles away, Denver is 58 miles away. Estes Park is the closest town and is 7 miles away.

We have gotten a permit to spread their ashes, so we will have time for everyone to share their memories and say a few things. Everyone is invited, so please spread the word. If you cannot be there but would like us to read a message to her as we celebrate, please private message me (Erin) here.
