Hey! I’m Kayla Kohl - doula and birth photographer. I’m passionate about helping all pregnant people trust their bodies, bond with their babies, and begin their postpartum journey with support so that they can parent from a place of peace. Currently I am in the process of becoming an IBCLC. I am working on my Infant Feeding Counselor course and am on track to be certified in June. If you’re planning a hospital birth there are tools you can use to help you labor. Check with your L&D floor to see what they offer. I highly recommend bringing your own labor comb, portable fan, and snacks.

So incredibly thankful to have served so many military families in 2025! This year was full of repeat clients, rainbow babies, VBACs, hard work, and love. It’s an honor to do what I do, and I look forward to continuing to serve families in 2026!

I’m so excited to announce that come January 2025 I will be studying under to become an Infant Feeding Counselor. This is the first step (95 hours) in becoming an IBCLC! My hope is to complete all educational requirements for becoming an IBCLC in 2026 and then begin obtaining my hours.

And a huge thank you to for being the best IBCLC in Omaha and helping me figure out my path! Your time is so valuable, thank you friend!
