*SUPER-LONG (BUT IMPORTANT) POST ALERT, PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY*
Hey guys... we're still shut down until we get some things figured out. We choose to follow health dept and state/city regulations. The same laws apply for any business that sells PERISHABLE food items, this is both for NEBRASKA and IOWA. We have to operate out of a commercial kitchen. The permit folks from the State Health Department DO monitor Facebook business, private, and group pages and CAN/WILL investigate individuals who operate out of residences not abiding by/adhering to regulations as they see fit. Google "Cottage Food Law for Nebraska or Iowa"
I know times are hard and the struggle is definitely real. Our dream is still in limbo as Kelly's current health issues are preventing coming up with the funds to obtain said permits and kitchen use fees/rent . And one place we had put down a deposit way in the beginning, has not responded in regards to a refund, no paperwork was filled out, and there was a cash transaction, so we screwed the pooch on that one 😔.
We don't know if the other location we're hoping to operate out of is ready or able to let us on board just yet, they too have had obstacles blasted their way. It's definitely a crushing, heart-breaking blow as the extra lumpia-income is definitely needed. If you have needs for items that qualify as non-perishable, or if you have any questions at all, or would like to know how to help, please do NOT hesitate to contact Kelly Ericksen directly by text at 402-957-0703.

DISCLAIMER: we're not throwing ANY other small businesses under the bus by no means. We just want to make those who need to know that you may or may not skate under the radar, but when they catch up to you... it REALLY, REALLY, REALLY sucks.
Also, we're not looking for handouts, just trying to catch a break, as stuff just keeps hitting us, making our goal seem farther and farther from reach. Keep us in your prayers or thoughts, with a sprinkling of good vibes or juju. We definitely need it. We look forward to serving the Omaha-Metro areas and beyond someday. Those who've ordered before it all crashed down, thank you for believing, trusting, and supporting us. This next go-round will be done the right way.
Thanks again,
Stay safe, Stay Blessed, Stay Positive
