Big news worth celebrating šŸŽ‰
The Morfeld Wildlife Team is thrilled to congratulate Red Bell Ranch on the arrival of their bongo twins, Kristoff and Elsa!
What makes this even more remarkable—beyond twins being rare—is that both calves required early intervention to survive. The team implemented a hybrid rearing approach, carefully supplementing while still keeping them with their mother. That balance isn’t easy to get right, but it made the difference—and both calves are now thriving.
Bongos are one of the largest and most striking forest antelope, known for their rich chestnut coats and bold white stripes—but they’re also rare, shy, and incredibly difficult to breed in managed care. With fewer than 100 Eastern bongos left in the wild, every birth matters… and twins are exceptionally rare.
This isn’t just exciting—it’s a serious win for conservation šŸ’š

Every sample tells a story.

At Morfeld Wildlife Reproduction and Conservation, f***l hormone analysis helps us understand what animals can’t tell us directly.

By analyzing hormones, we can:
* Follow estrous cycles
• Confirm pregnancies
• Detect irregularities that could impact survival

This non-invasive approach allows us to protect, support, and strengthen populations—without adding stress.
Better insight means better conservation.

What if p**p could help save a species? šŸ¦’

At Morfeld Research & Conservation, we monitor giraffe reproduction without ever touching the animals. By analyzing hormones found in f***l samples, our team can track reproductive cycles, confirm pregnancies, and better understand overall health — all while keeping stress on the animals at zero.

This science gives conservation programs the data they need to make smarter breeding decisions and support healthy, sustainable populations for the future.
Sometimes the smallest samples make the biggest difference. šŸŒāœØ
