Happy last day of PA week! Today we are featuring Anja Armitage, MPAS, PA-C.
Anja graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2004 and received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at UNMC in 2006. Her career as a PA has included 8.5 years of family medicine, ER and Urgent care and 6 years of aesthetic medicine.

She is passionate about helping patients feel good inside and out and has had extensive training in Botox, fillers, medical grade chemical peels, lasers for hair removal and skin resurfacing, radiofrequency micro-needling, medical grade skin care and peptide therapy for weight loss. Her favorite patient is someone brand new to Botox. Meeting them at their first appointment and then seeing how excited they are two weeks later is like nothing else.

She lives in Elkhorn with her husband, Joel, and three daughters. In her free time she loves to exercise, play with her goldendoodle puppy and two kitties and listen to true crime podcasts. Anja is excited to meet you and customize an aesthetic plan for you

Happy PA Week! Today we are featuring Kristi Rowe, MPAS-PA-C.

Hi! I’m Kristi Rowe, PA-C…owner and operator of The Aesthetic Atelier at Finesse Advanced Medical Aesthetics. I love being a PA for the past 24 years for one reason….you.

My career started in 2000 and had a few highs and lows, but those memories have faded. What I remember are the people I have partnered with in their care and the trust they put in me. In my mind, my career as a PA looks like a tapestry with many faces woven throughout.

I started in Women’s health and while working in a clinic in Omaha 15 years ago, started learning the art of aesthetics. This became a passion of mine and I dove in head first several years ago leaving traditional clinical practice behind.

I joined Finesse in 2019 when two very ambitious PA’s turned business owners approached me about a partnership opportunity and we haven’t looked back. Finesse is a simple and beautiful place where one can come and feel like they are visiting a friend. It’s special. Being a business owner feels like a dream. Pinch me.

My personal life is also something I am proud of. I have two very special daughters who have made me a better person knowing that I have the responsibility of raising empowered women. I was married to their dad for 14 years, successfully divorced and now engaged to Adam. Life is what you make it. My girls are thriving and Adam’s son is a special addition to my life.
I pride myself on doing hard things, cut from the cloth of a blue collar family from South O. I was a college athlete and that competitive spirit never left. I decided to try my hand at women’s bodybuilding at age 40. I became a women’s figure pro at age 45 and then hung up my high heels to prioritize family and growing a business. I believe exercise is the fountain of youth and I love discussing wellness with my patients. Exercise and fitness have given me a better outlook on life and connected me to many good people in the community. What a gift for this introvert!

In closing, I feel so blessed. Not many stay in the same career for most of their lives and can say that they enjoy it more now than ever before. Additionally, PA’s are awesome so if you see your PA today, give them a hug or a hi five or just simply thank them if they have gone over and above for you.

Finally , please pray for Florida. My stepfather and his wife are bracing for the storm. Our Finesse Friend Emily Wilson is there and many in our community have family and friends in Florida or who are part of the emergency response team. Pray for safety and a quick recovery after Hurricane Milton passes through.

Happy PA week!!! Today we are featuring one of our founders of Finesse, Leanne Carlson, MPAS, PA-C. Leanne Carlson is a sought after expert with over 17 years of experience in facial aesthetic non-surgical treatments. Her goal is to add finesse to each and every patient by restoring and enhancing their own natural beauty. Leanne possesses a refined eye to maximize each individual’s aesthetic expectations. With a comprehensive knowledge of the process of aging, as well as extensive training in the art of aesthetic medicine and facial contouring, her patients trust her for their most simple to complex issues.

Leanne graduated with academic distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2006 with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Over the last 17 years, she has built her reputation as an experienced aesthetic medical specialist at Sutton Ryan Dermatology and Te’Bella MedSpa, among others. She became NCCPA Board Certified in 2007. She also received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University and is still very active in the performing arts including theatre, film and vocal performance. She feels truly fortunate to be able to combine both of her professional degrees in her every day life.

She and her husband, Mark, reside in Omaha and have two children, Henry and Nora

Kim’s reputation proceeds her as an exceptionally skilled practitioner with an artistic eye for natural and age appropriate cosmetic injections treatments. Her clients appreciate her attentive care, gentle touch and deep understanding of facial contouring. She analyzes her client’s facial structure, sensitively listens to her client’s concerns and encourages natural and age appropriate anti-aging treatments and maintenance plans. Savvy customers trust Kim to provide objective, practical and compassionate advice while creating a personal maintenance plan that respects their budget.

Kim attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center and graduated in 1998 with academic distinction with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. She worked in Orthopaedics performing hand and upper extremity surgical procedures. She and her previous partner embarked on opening TeBella Medspa, one of the first medspas in the Omaha area. She currently shares her knowledge by training other Physicians, nurses and PAs. She trains regionally with Allergan Medical Institute.

Kim and her husband, Casey, have three children, Reid, Ethan and Julia.
