Old Market Massage Licensed Massage Therapist Lisa Christensen LMT attended Omaha School of Massage therapy in 1999. She is currently a member of AMTA.

She continues to learn through self study and continuing education through state accredited presenters. It is Lisa's intention is to facilitate and restore well-being, health and flexibility of your mind, body and spirit. She combines techniques for your specific need using Ashiatsu, Thai, swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point, myofacial, sports massage and stretching, reflexology, acupressure, Reiki and Pranic Healing.

Ready for some feel-good local news? Here’s your fix …
During our Compost Club Gives campaign last spring, together we raised over 1,000 cubic feet of soil for 15 local non-profit food gardens.
That’s nearly 100 Compost Clubbers and local businesses further strengthening Omaha’s circular food system.
As you can see above, the Faithworks Food Pantry garden at FaithWestwood Church already has its pile of donated compost ready to go.

Love this strength training!!!

"Hi, my name is Joe and I am 71 years old. I am an avid golfer, playing on average three times a week, walking with a pull cart versus riding. Daily I do a stretching and yoga routine. My wife and I enjoy our regular neighborhood walks, typically 45 minutes at a leisurely pace. Recently, I decided to check out The Exercise Coach program. I was impressed by the atmosphere of the facility and the introductory workout experience. Getting immediate feedback from the equipment and being able to compare it to your past performance was a huge plus. However, for me the difference maker was the staff's approach explaining the 20 minute, twice a week workout process. At the time I felt I was in decent shape but needed to work on strengthening my core and improving my flexibility as I was having issues with occasional back pain. We talked about how they would tailor a program to meet my goals and improve my overall fitness.

I am extremely pleased with this program's mix of strength and cardio over these past 4 months. My back pain is all but gone as the focus on my core and flexibility has made a difference. Each 20-minute session has provided me with a challenging and solid workout due the coaches' interaction and the equipment feedback. My overall fitness level and flexibility have steadily improved. And my golf game has benefitted, as I am not as tired on those last few holes as I was before I started with this routine.

I enjoyed naps this weekend! And it felt restorative!

Our lives have become increasingly fast-paced, and the effort to keep up often occupies all our time and attention. We are so busy rushing from point A to point B that we forget to enjoy the ride. We race to the store without noticing the leaves on the trees or the clouds in the sky. We go through the checkout line feeling too pressed to converse with the cashier or the other people in line. At the end of a day filled with this kind of frantic pace, we may begin to wonder what it is we do all these things for, if we don’t even have the time to occasionally stop and just take it all in.
