PJs & Pancakes at Sunridge Village!

Residents rolled out of bed and straight into fun at our Pajamas & Pancake Breakfast. Everyone came down in their comfiest PJs to enjoy mimosas, orange juice, and coffee—served alongside fluffy pancakes, sausage, and fresh fruit cups. Such a fun (and delicious!) way to start a February morning at Sunridge Village.

Making Fun Christmas Memories!

Last night’s Candlelight Dinner was truly unforgettable! Our residents enjoyed an elegant evening filled with delicious food, festive music, and great company in a warm, candlelit atmosphere.

The evening began with a choice of fine wine paired perfectly with a refreshing Shrimp Louie salad, a classic seafood starter that delighted everyone’s taste buds.

For the main course, guests savored prime rib with all the trimmings — complete with a fluffy twice-baked potato and perfectly grilled asparagus drizzled with holiday sauce.

The atmosphere was made even more special with beautiful Christmas music performed by Billy Troy, whose blend of classic and country-influenced sounds set the perfect holiday mood for the evening.

Thank you to our dining team, Billy Troy, and everyone who joined us for this memorable night. Moments like these are what make Sunridge Village feel like home!

What a Magical Holiday Open House at Sunridge Village!
Yesterday was filled with holiday joy as family, friends, and our wonderful residents gathered for a festive celebration at Sunridge Village Retirement Community!

We were blessed to hear the beautiful voices of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church Choir, and everyone had a great time singing along with our own Sunridge Songbirds!

Over in our Coffee Shop, the Cocoa & Cookie Bar was a cozy favorite—perfect for warming up and enjoying sweet treats with loved ones. Sunridge Village

The Kids’ Craft Corner was buzzing with creativity, and so many smiles were made at the Selfie Booth!

“Saluting Service: Omaha Federal Credit Union & Sunridge Village Celebrate Our Veterans”

We kicked off Veteran’s Day in style at Sunridge Village Retirement Community! A huge thank you to Omaha Federal Credit Union for surprising our veterans with their annual Veterans Day Baskets.

This marks their 5th year of delivering to retirement communities and nursing homes—and this year they surpassed all expectations with a record 255 baskets donated to veterans across Douglas, Sarpy, Burt, Washington, Harrison and Pottawattamie counties!

Thank you again for giving our celebration such an amazing start!

A huge THANK YOU to all the little ghosts, goblins and costume-creators who trick-or-treated around Sunridge Village!

Our hallways were alive with laughter and costumes tonight as our residents lined up, doors open, awaiting the little ghosts and goblins.

It was so much fun to see the creative outfits—from kiddos and residents alike—and the doorsteps were overflowing with goodies galore. Your smiles and spooky spirit made the night truly special!

Calling all ghouls, ghosts and creatures of the night!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for the “Creatures of the Night” Halloween party at Sunridge Village! The coffin charcuterie boxes were devoured, the chocolate batty cupcakes vanished in a flash, and the scary green punch was a scream (in a good way!).

Until next year… may your nights be full of treats (and only minimal tricks)!

Oktoberfest at Sunridge Village Retirement Community!

What a festive evening! Our residents were treated to a delightful celebration of German culture and great company. We turned our dining room into a Bavarian celebration, and the results were magical.

Residents enjoyed an authentic German feast with grilled beer brats or roast chicken, paired with German potatoes, red cabbage, German cucumber salad, and a slice of classic apple cake for dessert.

Each guest had their pick of a glass of Riesling wine or an Oktoberfest beer — the perfect companion for a hearty meal. Prost!

Wayne Miller brought the spirit with his accordion, filling the room with lively polka. Many residents couldn’t resist — they tapped their toes or danced right in their seats!

A huge thank you to everyone involved — our kitchen, serving staff, Wayne Miller's festive music, and most of all our residents, who brought the smiles, laughter, and dancing spirit. Happy Oktoberfest!

What a wonderful day for a car show!
Sunridge Village residents, their families, and friends gathered for an amazing afternoon, touring beautiful cars from eras long past. From the early 1900s through many decades of classic design, the vehicles on display were nothing short of spectacular.

The day was made even better with nostalgic tunes from George and the Jr’s, an outdoor hotdog stand with all the trimmings and an Ice cold cola to beat the heat.

A heartfelt thank you to the Model A Club, the Centennial T Club, and all the private car collectors for bringing these treasures to share. Your passion and dedication made today unforgettable.
