🎉 Exciting News from UNMC Dermatology! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that we have matched our first-ever Pediatric Dermatology Fellow, Dr. Megan Walsh!

Dr. Walsh will be joining us next summer at Children’s Nebraska, where she will help expand specialized dermatologic care for children across our region. This milestone represents a major step forward for our department and reflects the growing strength of our pediatric dermatology program.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Walsh — we are so excited for all she will bring to our patients, trainees, and community! ✨

Two of our residents, Dr. Grinnell and Dr. Clark, volunteered yesterday at the UNMC REACH Career Summit at North High School!

The event introduces students to a wide range of health and research careers, and our residents brought dermatology to life with a fun matching game — challenging students to pair images of skin conditions with their correct names.

We’re proud to support programs that inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals!

This past Saturday, our team participated in the One Stop Cancer Shop event at !

Dr. Adams and Dr. Sutton (not pictured), along with two of our dermatology residents, provided dozens of free skin cancer screenings to community members. Several of our medical students also volunteered to hand out sunscreen, UV bracelets, and educational materials on the ABCDEs of melanoma and sun safety donated from .

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this another successful community outreach event!
