Epilepsy Awareness Day – March 26 (Purple Day)
March 26 is Epilepsy Awareness Day, also known as Purple Day. This day is dedicated to raising awareness, sharing facts, and showing support for people living with epilepsy.
Epilepsy is a neurological condition that affects the brain and causes recurring seizures. It affects people of all ages and backgrounds. While epilepsy is common, many people still have questions or misunderstandings about what it is and how it impacts daily life. Awareness helps reduce stigma and encourages understanding and support.
At Neurology Consultants of Nebraska, we care for many patients living with epilepsy. Our goal is to help patients manage their condition, improve quality of life, and feel supported every step of the way.
You can take part in Epilepsy Awareness Day by learning more, sharing reliable information, or wearing purple to show your support. To learn more about epilepsy, visit www.epilepsy.com.
