Beautiful Harper has all of our hearts. ♥️ She loved Chuggington, water parks, and school bus rides. She brought all the necessary sass to her appointments and truly lived her best life 🤩. But looking back at Harper’s start in life, it had been a whirlwind of stress for her amazing family.
When Harper was born, she endured an agonizing 97-day stay in the NICU 🏥, followed by multiple surgeries and constant testing to figure out why she was struggling. They eventually received a diagnosis of dystonia for Harper, but she also faced seizures, extreme reflux, lack of head control, and hearing difficulties.
Mom said she felt helpless and was not listened to by her doctors. They experienced the exhaustion of having done and tried everything for her with multiple opinions, countless blood tests, MRIs, CTs, only to be put on more and more medications. 💊
True fighters from the start, Harper’s parents kept advocating for her care. When a friend told them about Dr. Tony and the PX Docs network, they took the leap, seeking answers that no one else had provided.
As Harper's Mom, Megan shared that after Harper’s very first adjustment, she started responding to sounds, and they couldn’t believe it! 🤯 As Harper continued to receive care, it helped her in so many ways: she no longer experienced reflux or GERD, she slept better, had improved head control, experienced fewer seizures, and they were able to cut her medications in half! 🙌🏼 She also had fewer spastic movements from the dystonia, so she could rest her body.
Chiropractic helped Harper adapt to life and stay calmer and connected. Mom said, “If it wasn’t for chiropractic, my girl wouldn’t have lived until the age of 7, and I am so thankful to have gotten 7 beautiful years with her.”
