Omaha’s premier audiology practice; women and veteran owned. We're slightly obsessed with better hearing, balance, and tinnitus! Women and veteran owned.
**Meet Your Local Ear Experts**
We're slightly obsessed with better hearing, balance, tinnitus, and auditory processing. We’re not just any audiology clinic—we’re nerds who’ve been decoding the mysteries of the auditory system since 2003. If it involves ears, we’re into it. Our approach? Way beyond the "raise your hand when you hear the beep" kind of test. We look at how your ears work with your brain, your body, and your life. That means we may check out things like balance, dexterity, cognition, and how well your brain processes sound. It’s all about the full picture—so we can tailor a treatment plan that actually fits your life, not just your audiogram. If hearing aids turn out to be the hero of your story, don’t worry—we’ve got all the latest widgets. We work with all seven major hearing aid manufacturers. Best part? We’re not tied to any one manufacturer or corporate chain. That means you get more choices, more control, and no pushy sales tactics. Oh—and we’ve got flexible payment options and even hearing aid rentals, because everyone deserves to hear well without stressing their wallet.

Today, we recognize International Cochlear Implant Day 🎧
Cochlear implants have transformed access to sound for individuals with severe to profound hearing loss, supporting communication, education, and connection at every stage of life.
On February 25, we celebrate the technology, professionals, and families who make hearing possible in new ways—and the recipients whose stories remind us why hearing care matters.

It’s Tinnitus Awareness Week
Ringing, buzzing, or humming in your ears isn’t “just annoying” — it’s a sign your hearing may need attention.
Tinnitus affects millions of people worldwide and is often linked to hearing loss, noise exposure, and stress. For many, it can interfere with sleep, impact mental health, and reduce overall quality of life.
The good news? You don’t have to live with it alone. A hearing evaluation can help identify the cause and open the door to management options that improve daily life.
If tinnitus is part of your story, this week is a reminder to listen to your ears — and take the next step toward better hearing health.

Did you know? More than 90% of deaf children are born to hearing parents.
This statistic comes from the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), and it highlights just how important early education, support, and resources are for families learning about hearing differences.
For many parents, newborn hearing screening is the first moment they learn their child may be deaf or hard-of-hearing. As NIDCD notes, “Early identification of hearing loss gives a child the best possible chance for healthy development.”
Understanding, communication options, and community support can make an enormous difference in a child’s language development and confidence.

"Happy National Winnie the Pooh Day!
Winnie the Pooh reminds us of something simple — and powerful: the importance of truly listening.
Whether it’s a friend sharing their day, a child telling a story, or a loved one saying “I love you,” hearing is how we stay connected to the people who matter most — and how we show up for one another.
Today is a sweet reminder that listening supports emotional wellness, deeper relationships, and meaningful moments we never want to miss.

Dr. Nikki Kopetzky is a native Nebraskan who has over 15 years of clinical audiology experience working in a large ENT practice. She specializes in the diagnosis and effective treatment of all types of hearing disorders and regularly works with patients of all ages. Her passion is learning about the individual hearing challenges of each patient and then matching each patient with the best hearing technology to meet their needs and budget. Dr. Kopetzky became interested in audiology from a young age after accompanying her dad, who has bilateral significant hearing loss, to audiology appointments. As a result, she grew up understanding the positive impact successful treatment of hearing loss can have on a person’s career, family, and social interactions.
Dr. Kopetzky received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and she received her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University in Philadelphia. She has been actively involved in many professional organizations. She is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and a member of the Nebraska Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSLHA), where she is a past board member and committee chair. She has also been a past educational speaker at the NSLHA state convention and has served as a preceptor for graduate students in the audiology program at the University of Nebraska since 2009.
Dr. Kopetzky lives on a small acreage with her husband, three kids, and two dogs. She loves all outdoor activities but spending time at the lake or camping with her family are among her favorite activities. Dr. Kopetzky also enjoys running and typically completes at least two half marathons and one full marathon each year.
