A child’s behavior is often a reflection of how full (or empty) their emotional cup feels.
Connection, validation, and encouragement go a long way. 💛 🥤
Filling their cup doesn’t take big moments, just small, consistent ones.
The way we listen, validate, and connect becomes their inner voice.

🍓🥦 Food before 1 is NOT just for fun! Just because something rhymes and sounds cute, doesn’t make it true! Food before 1 is incredibly important for the following reasons:
1. Babies need key nutrients such as iron & zinc to support healthy growth and brain development 🧠 🥩 🥬
2. Oral-motor development is important: Eating, chewing, drinking, and swallowing different textures is not automatic 🍴🥤
3. Early food exposure helps shape food acceptance 🍉🫛🍇
4. Early solids can help support food allergy prevention 🍳🍤🥜

YESSSS! When we talk to parents about kindergarten readiness, these are the things that matter most! 🖍️ 📚 🚌

When people talk about kindergarten readiness, academics tend to get all the attention. But the skills kids really need to be successful in the classroom come long before worksheets.

Let's break down the foundational skills that support learning, participation, and independence, including:
• regulating emotions and calming the body
• transitioning between activities
• using the bathroom and washing hands
• managing clothing and lunch containers
• attending, listening, and following directions
• sharing, waiting, and taking turns

These are the skills that help kids function in a classroom—and they develop through play, routines, and supportive experiences over time.
