Times are crazy right now but please consider supporting this small but truly amazing school. They go above and beyond to reach EVERY kid on EVERY level. More schools and programs needs to follow their lead!

🔸 Be Strong and Courageous. 🔸

Omaha Street School is looking different today, but we are still dedicated to helping our students transform their lives, especially during a time of uncertainty.

Our small size allows us to:
-Provide one-on-one counseling to each student each week
-Provide spiritual outreach to each student and their family
-Provide an educational path to earn a high school diploma
-Provide students with daily instructor interaction

We will change reality by:
-Supplying meals to our students and their families 3 times a week
-Providing supplies to our families on an as-needed basis
-Providing electronics and internet access as needed
-Holding a weekly virtual chapel
-Holding a monthly virtual Champion Church

Update on School Closure:
We are closed for the remainder of the week and will move to remote (online learning) starting next week. We will extend remote learning as needed following current NE Department of Health guidelines.

A few years ago I met a client who inspired me then and continues to inspire me now. He has fought through addiction and alcoholism and criminal activity and homelessness. He currently is in a house with his girlfriend and raising his grandson. In the next few weeks I will be videotaping him and his story.. his comment to me today summed it up. " I know I'm an addict and alcoholic but every day I wake up and thank the Lord for another day and put my armor on. "

WHAT IS THE FACE OF DISABILITY?
Can you see if someone has a disability just by looking at their face?
No.
Because if you see a disability
You don’t see the person.
Because quite honestly
We are all disabled.
Everyone suffers from something.
Just some of us are better at masking it.
