Heart Health Month highlights the critical, bidirectional link between mental and cardiovascular health, recognizing that stress, anxiety, and depression are significant risk factors for heart disease. Chronic mental health struggles can cause physical damage, such as high blood pressure and inflammation, while heart conditions can trigger mental distress, making care essential. By taking steps to improve your heart health, we can reduce the chances of developing heart disease and other cardiovascular conditions. ❤️
