A little one tonight for anyone whose brain is struggling to switch off. It’s okay to need a little more time to recharge. It doesn’t mean you’re behind, lazy, starting the year on the wrong foot. It just means you need a little more time to rest. Ramble ramble from me but hope it can help anyone feeling the same xx

Oof. I don’t remember the last time I doodled. It has been a while and I’m feeling it 😅 I’ve been feeling bummed out that I can’t seem to catch up with life right now. Lots of unpacking left to do, young kids to chase, and projects collecting spiderwebs in my mind 🙈 but some days I just take a deep breath and remind myself that I’m trying my best and that’s all that matters. 💛

What’s something that’s going right for you right now? Mondays aren’t known for being celebratory, but let’s give it a try! 🎉

A bit of vulnerability for you all.. last week was what I would coin a “dark night of the soul” type of week…the type of week where you wonder if you might break. The type of week with lots of tears and exhaustion..the type of week where it feels like you can’t catch a break..but we made it! I made it. And while things were far from perfect we made it to the other side…and I want you to know that you’re doing great. Great doesn’t mean perfect. Great means you made it through whatever difficulty there was. Great means you didn’t give up ❤️

Whatever day it is of the year, you are worthy to be loved. ❤️

While we observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day today, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on his legacy and how we can honor it by working toward a better, brighter future for all. King once said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,” and this sentiment is one that is very close to our hearts.

To this end, we formed a JEDI (justice, equity, diversity and inclusion) committee within our company to tackle commitments voted on by all employees. These commitments range from how we structure our holiday calendar to be more inclusive, to ensuring our supply chain is able to thrive in the face of climate change, while also working to reduce the carbon footprint of our business.

This isn’t a one-and-done thing for us. This commitment to JEDI is not a side project, but something we’re weaving into the fabric of our business.

Check out our website to read our full commitment to JEDI and what we’ve done so far, and be sure to check back every now and again to see how our commitments grow and evolve.

Let's all be inspired by the work of civil rights activists past and present, and reaffirm our dedication to doing what’s right, not just today, but every day ❤️

When out of inspiration I sometimes just go and rework or redo an old image or quote so here’s a new spring version of my garden wonder sun. I’ve missed my little ☀️. I’ve noticed anytime I post a sentiment about the uniqueness or the idea of “there will never be another you” I always get comments about how, with cloning, that’s not true. But I think people forget that individual experiences, emotions, life events, the community you’re surrounded with..environment..all of these things are not replicable…there is a magic about you that is truly all your own. A magic that was made in the midst of ups and downs, good and bad, hardships, trials, triumphs..there will truly never be another you. 💛☀️

It’s Random Acts of Kindness day today! ❤️ so here’s a reminder that kindness doesn’t require extravagance. It doesn’t have to be expensive or flashy. It can just be a word of encouragement, helping someone with their groceries, saying “good morning, hope you have a nice day!”…kindness can be as simple as buying someone a cup of coffee. ❤️ if you haven’t had your coffee fix yet and you happen to be heading to , you might want to head to my stories today! ❤️❤️ wishing you all a sweet Friday.

“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” – Martin Luther King, Jr. ✨

Speed is not the focus. You may wish you were further along by now, but you have not been left behind. My hope for you in this next year is that you just keep going–and that along the way, you find rest, peace, healing, and wholeness.

Forward is forward is forward 💚

New year, new me? I’ve never really liked the implications behind this statement. Was there something wrong with the old you? Do we have to become different people? And let’s be honest…those New Years resolutions usually go out the door the second we hit a bump in the road and then we feel like we’ve failed. Like we’ve messed up and can’t be “new” us anymore. And so we go through the year, resolved that the next year will be the year we’ll finally be different. But really, I just want to be kinder each year. Love people more this year. Have a healthier mind and internal life for my family and myself. I have goals and aspirations but I like me. The me that has been built over my whole life. With the quirks and qualities…the stories..the ups and downs…so, happy new year to you all. I hope you don’t change the most fundamental and beautiful things about yourself and the pressure of new doesn’t deter you from the things you’re working on and working towards. You all are wonderful. ❤️
