Seacoast Medical's CEO, Dave MacFarlane, opened the company in 1991 after nearly a decade of experience in pharmaceutical sales. Dave recognized an opportunity to provide a comprehensive line of pharmaceutical products and services to market to the non-acute physician offices throughout the country. One year later, Bob Harris was hired on as a pharmaceutical sales representative to help grow the business, and in 1997 became President and part owner. Seacoast's business model began by providing a pharmaceutical inventory management system to assist physician offices to manage their pharmaceutical inventory costs. In 1996, the company implemented a call center to provide nationwide customer service. In early 2007, the company relocated their distribution center to Southwest Omaha. state of the art facility is located at 13423 Lynam Drive, Omaha, NE 68138 and is home to over 35 employees.
