Today, we celebrated our annual Fall Festival—a special opportunity for everyone at Community Alliance to come together and celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. Those we serve were able to enjoy time with peers while our team served up a delicious lunch—turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans and a sweet slice of pumpkin pie for dessert! We shared what we were grateful for and made meaningful connections. It's moments like this that matter!

We want to extend an invite to you to consider supporting an individual served by Community Alliance through our Holiday Helpers initiative! Many of the people served by Community Alliance may not have the means to purchase gifts for the holiday season.

This program is an opportunity to adopt and shop for a person who could use a little extra cheer. If you're interested in helping out, please contact Stacy Ring - sring@commall.org. Thank you for your support in advance!

We are grateful for the opportunity to be featured on this podcast where conversations count and compassion leads the way.

We grateful to have received handmade gift bags donated by youth in our community filled with fun trinkets and treats for the residents of our five residential homes. This act of kindness filled their day with joy and reminded us all how special it is to give back. We truly appreciate thoughtful gestures like these. Thank you for making a difference in our community!

As a result of Community Alliance receiving a Nebraska Arts Council grant, we were happy to welcome local artist, LaTryce Anderson, to teach the history of hip-hop followed by a movement activity in our Health & Wellness space where participants learned a sequence of dance moves. Nearly 40 people in our day rehabilitation program participated and were able put the dance moves they learned into practice themselves! LaTryce shared that "Dance is self-generated joy. You don't need any equipment to move and no one can take it from you." We are grateful for the support of the Nebraska Arts Council and for LaTryce bringing her upbeat energy and talents to provide this creative enrichment opportunity to those we serve.

Join us in congratulating the most recent graduating class of Peer Support Specialists! After a weeklong training led by our team, trainees learned the background of peer support, how the program helps people, and the education required to become certified. Now, that they've graduated, they are one step closer to helping those in their community!

Positive Actions. Positive Outcomes.

Community Alliance makes positive outcomes possible through an integrated, whole-person approach to mental health care. It is recovery in action, built on a continuum of care, service, and support. Psychiatric and Counseling services integrate seamlessly with Primary Health Care services, all of which are supported by a full range of proven effective rehabilitation, employment and community programs.

Every person gets what they need, and the high-quality care they deserve.

In fact, Community Alliance has earned top tier national accreditation scores for care quality, which plays a crucial role in our positive outcomes. But the most positive result we offer to people who struggle with mental illness and other mental health challenges is the knowledge and belief that recovery, put into action, becomes a daily reality.
