It doesn’t mean that your relaxation practice did not work, contrary it did.

In other words, you became aware of what your body needed and you honored it. 🧘🏾❤️🌸

My style of teaching focuses on normalizing feelings, humanity and building confidence in navigating life with awareness in both caregivers and kids.

More over, the mindfulness philosophy offers us a pillar called "letting go" which means letting go of attachments, expectations and outcomes. This pillar is the backbone of my approach to navigating emotional wellness and awareness.

In other words, we can say that becoming attached to one feeling or outcome may get in the way of our self-awareness and personal insights. Personal insights are an important aspect of our emotional wellness journey.

To sum it all - it is okay to to practice a nervous system regulation tool and instead of feeling calm we feel sad, cry, laugh.... that is part of healing our nervous system.
