Our Creighton University Department of Physical Therapy Geriatric Resident Justin Larson and faculty Rashelle Hoffman were out chatting with older adults at CHI Lakeside Immanuel Signature Community. They presented on the importance of strength training and protein intake to enhance mobility while aging.

Congratulations to Abbis Jaffri who had 2 presentations (poster and oral) at the International Society of Biomechanics Conference in Stochholm last month. His presentations included data from his most recent project looking at Cognitive behavior based physical therapy to improve functional outcomes in patients with patellofemoral pain.

Dr. Jaffri has been honored as the recipient of the 2025 Margaret L Moore Outstanding New Academic Faculty Award, a highly prestigious national accolade presented by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)! This esteemed award recognizes exceptional physical therapy faculty who demonstrate outstanding academic and research excellence as a new physical therapy faculty.
