IS YOUR ELECTRONIC BATCH RECORD PROJECT BOGGED DOWN?

FASTER DEPLOYMENT SPEEDS ROI

As MES project teams dig in, they often hit roadblocks, delays, and frustrations.

Deployments that should be completed in months extend into annualized Gantt charts.

Time flies by.

Before long, project management metrics become the deliverables … instead of getting the job done.

Project management doesn’t create ROI. People do.

GMP Pros is often called upon to speed up stalled eBR and MES deployments.

We roll up our sleeves and create digital connectivity between shop-floor processes and quality assurance. We do it all the time in many production situations.

Our goal is to eliminate wasteful manual documentation in batch records while unlocking systematic benefits of MES.

Consider this: If your project is bogged down, we can help you accelerate it and get a faster return on investment.

Today we’re recognizing Jeff on his 3 year anniversary with GMP Pros.

A proud dad of three, Jeff keeps life grounded in what matters most. If you spend a few minutes with him, you’ll hear about family, his dog Oreo, fishing, small engine repair, and a strong loyalty to Boston sports.

But what really stands out is Jeff’s commitment to people.

He genuinely cares about mentoring kids and students—helping them see what they’re capable of and pushing them not to hold back. That same mindset shows up in how he supports our team and our clients.

Steady. Reliable. Focused on doing things the right way.

And if Jeff walked into a room, you’d probably hear “Humble & Kind” by Tim McGraw playing in the background—which fits.

Jeff—appreciate how you show up and what you bring to the team.

Happy anniversary! 🥳

👀 How did we fix divergent designs without impacting the timeline on an MES implementation for our global pharma client? Watch Than Nguyen explain.

If you’re responsible for an MES implementation, you already know what’s at stake.

Timelines slip. Scope expands. Teams get stretched.
You don’t get many shots to get this right.

If you want a team that’s been through it in the real world—not just on paper think GMP Pros—reach out to our VP of Business Development, Justin Tome on LinkedIn.

Most people don’t see what great operations leadership actually looks like.

It’s not loud.
It’s not flashy.

And it’s usually happening behind the scenes—long before a project ever shows up on your radar.
Our Director of Engineering Operations, Colton Kulback, was just voted by our team as their Value People Award winner.

That didn’t happen by accident.

Colton shows up for our team in a way that most people outside the organization will never fully see:
• He makes sure our engineers are clear before they ever step onto your site
• He removes friction so they can focus on ex*****on—not internal chaos
• He holds a high bar while still having their back when things get tough

And here’s why that matters to your site:
The way a team is led internally shows up in how they perform externally.

When our team walks into your facility—whether it’s a capital project, EBR implementation, or GMP Pros providing you with an engineer to help with business as usual challenges—they’re not figuring it out on the fly.

They’re supported.
They’re aligned.
They’re ready.

That doesn’t happen without someone like Colton behind the scenes making sure the foundation is solid.

This award is called Value People.

Colton lives it.
And our clients feel it—whether they realize it or not.

Congratulations to Kyle Swartzendruber, winner of the 2026 Iron Man award! The Iron Man award goes to someone who demonstrates Grit and Resilience.

"Grit" is that key driver of success that enables someone to overcome challenges. His adaptability and toughness is the "resilience" that brought Kyle immediately to mind for our team.

Kyle started at GMP Pros as a Corrective and Preventive Action Engineer after graduating with a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Today, he is our trusted Business Change Lead and someone who cares deeply about helping the people he works alongside at our client sites. You can find him down on the manufacturing floor training and talking to the operators. He's learned to listen and learn from the people who know what's working well and what's broken and has that inform the solution he provides.

Congrats Kyle!

Believe it or not GMP Pros started as a staffing firm.

We provided engineers to FDA-regulated manufacturers of food, pharma, animal health, and biologics. In years one and two, our business model was 100% contract-basis staffing.

Our business model evolution arcs from 100% staffing to today’s hybrid of short-term staffing and long-term projects in MES implementation, centerlining, and capital projects.

We invested heavily in our hiring system to add the right engineering subject matter experts to our team. Over the years, we became known for getting the right work done for our clients. This is a direct result of our Director of Engineering Operations, Colton Kulback working with surgical precision to improve both operational ex*****on and direct labor efficiency of our team.

MES subject matter expert Grant Wallace joined our team in August of 2020. Grant made heavy investments along with Colton to coach our original CAPA engineers growing them into MES Implementation experts lethal in the technical aspects, and the more challenging work of effective change leadership.

Today, you can call GMP Pros when you need engineering talent to get the right work done on your projects. Our experience is forged from being boots-on-the ground at facililties across the country-- and always with the goal of bringing immediate value to the site. Reach out directly to our VP of Business Development, Justin Tome on LinkedIn.

Everyone wants consistency from MES.

But without strong design standards, you don’t get consistency—you get variation at scale.

Different teams. Different configurations. More complexity than you planned for.

In this video, GMP Pros walks through a real-world scenario where inconsistent designs could have created downstream issues that were expensive to fix later.

Design standards aren’t optional if you want MES to scale.

🎥 Watch how it actually plays out.

Everyone talks about MES implementation like it’s a clean, structured process.
It’s not.

At Pharma MES, our GMP Pros team—Grant Wallace, Kyle Swartzendruber, Than Nguyen, and Patrick Cassidy—shared what it actually looks like inside large, regulated pharma and animal health companies.

The wins.
The breakdowns.
What happens when the wheels come off—and what it takes to get things back on track.

These aren’t theoretical lessons. They’re lived experiences from teams who have been in the middle of it.

Proud of this group for showing up and sharing the real story.

If you weren’t able to attend, we’re sharing the full session here 👇

We had a great time in Boston at Pharma MES—and honestly, this one felt different.

Instead of talking about how MES and eBR implementations should go, we talked about how they actually go when you’re in it. The pivots. The friction. The moments where the plan looks great on paper… and then reality shows up.

Because that’s where the real work happens.

A few things that really seemed to resonate with the room:
💡 Inconsistent design creates friction you don’t see right away—but operators feel it immediately
💡Verification should protect risk, not slow everything to a crawl
💡If the floor doesn’t believe in it, it’s not going to stick—adoption is earned
💡And awareness isn’t capability… confidence comes from actually doing the work

That last one hits every time.

What we're proud of is this: our team didn’t stand up there and talk theory. They shared lived experience—what happens when timelines shift, when designs need to change mid-flight, and how to keep things moving without losing control of quality or compliance.

That’s the space GMP Pros operates in.

We help teams navigate the messy middle of implementation—where ex*****on, not strategy, determines whether this thing actually works on the floor.

If you’re in the middle of an MES or eBR implementation (or about to be), you don’t need more slides.

You need people who’ve been there before—and know how to adjust when things don’t go according to plan.

That’s what we do.

There’s a difference between showing up… and actually being in the room where real conversations happen.

This week, Justin Tome was in Boulder at the Rocky Mountain Vendor Show hosted by International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering.

If you’ve been to one of these, you know—it’s not about polished pitches or perfectly rehearsed talking points.

It’s engineers, operators, and leaders having honest conversations about what’s actually going on inside their facilities:

Projects that are behind
Systems that aren’t scaling
Teams that are stretched thin
That’s where the real work starts.

Justin spent the day doing what he does best—listening, asking the right questions, and helping people think through how to move forward when things aren’t as simple as they should be.

He also had a chance to reconnect with our friends at Huffman Engineering. Always good to see familiar faces and catch up with people who care about getting the work done right.

Because at the end of the day, this business isn’t about selling services.

It’s about being the team someone calls when the work gets real.

If you were there, great to connect. If not, we’ll see you at the next one.

Seven years ago, Justin Tome joined GMP Pros.

And he didn’t just start selling.

He started listening.

Justin has never treated business development like a numbers game. He treats it like a responsibility. When he sits down with a client, he’s not thinking about “closing.” He’s thinking about understanding.

What’s really going on?
Where’s the pressure?
What problem actually needs to be solved?

He builds relationships the right way — slowly, honestly, and with follow-through. No hype. No overpromising. Just clarity and commitment.

Over the years, he’s become a trusted partner to the leaders we serve. When something breaks, when timelines compress, when capital plans get complicated — Justin is often the first call. Not because he has all the answers, but because he knows how to bring the right people to the table to solve it.

That’s the difference.

Seven years means he’s grown with us. He’s helped shape how GMP Pros shows up in the market. He’s built trust brick by brick — and he protects that trust fiercely.

Justin, thank you for building real relationships and solving real problems the right way.

Seven years as a Pro. We’re better because you’re here.
