Community collaboration is at the heart of what we do. Last week, our Holly Springs Clinical Director, Amanda Purcell, put that into action.

"I had the pleasure of delivering a training at In Harmony Pediatric Therapy last Wednesday. It was a wonderful opportunity to share not only what ABA is and how it can be used to build skills across a variety of areas, but also what sets Lamplight apart.

This photo captures it perfectly- collaboration truly makes a difference. Partnering with fellow service providers in our community allows us to create a greater impact, not only for the learners we directly serve, but for so many others as well.

We’re excited to share a message from our Holly Springs Clinical Director, Amanda Purcell, as she shares her "why"- the passion behind the work she loves.

"Happy "What's your Why?" Wednesday!

Today has been a great morning in Holly Springs! Sometimes, When the days get long and hard and monotony begins to creep in , it can be hard to remember our why. This photo is a great reminder of what my "why" is.

Pictured here are three learners. Two of these learners often prefer to play seldom. The other loves to play with preferred peers, but is often nervous to be around his cousin, who is also pictured. This morning all three learners collectively completed a puzzle. They took turns waiting, searching for letters, and cheering each other on as they found the next letter.

Also pictured, is a joyful RBT who is amazed at the progress her learners have made. Not pictured are the other RBTs and BCBAs who have helped create this scene over the past few months.

Thank you to everyone at the Holly Springs center for showing up each day, helping your learners reach their greatest potential. I hope you find joy in your day, just like Catherine is here!"

🦎✨ ZIGGY ZONE: WEEK 2 ✨🦎
This week is all about staying healthy, especially during the colder months! ❄️

Ziggy’s been taking his health seriously with a vet visit and some indoor treadmill time (because chilly weather won’t stop this guy from moving!).

We love watching Ziggy take care of himself and show that health matters all year long. From checkups to staying active indoors, he’s reminding us that there are always creative ways to feel our best.

Welcome to the Ziggy Zone! 🦎

Meet Ziggy, Lamplight’s Omaha clinic pet! We’re so excited for everyone to get to know him a little better as we kick off this weekly series all about our favorite bearded dragon.

These photos show Ziggy doing one of his favorite (and most important) activities- basking and lounging in his habitat. Along with climbing, exploring, and cuddling his stuffy, basking takes up a big part of his day.

Bearded dragons are cold-blooded, which means they rely on heat to regulate their body temperature. Lounging under warm lights helps with digestion, energy, and overall health. So when Ziggy is stretched out and looking extra relaxed like this, it’s a sign he’s comfortable, calm, and feeling right at home.🔆💛
