My Story
Mental health and/or Substance treatment Just when the caterpillar thought her life was over, she began to fly - Unknown
I am a Master’s level Licensed Independent Mental health practitioner (LIMHP) & Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC). I graduated in 2006 from the University of Nebraska and have worked with adolescents (ages 12 – 19 years) and adults, both in residential and outpatient treatment.
I specialize in Co-occurring disorders – Substance and Mental Health. My approach is an integrative one, taking a collaborative, non-judgmental, & trauma-informed approach with my clients. Counseling theories that guide my approach are Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Spirituality, and Functional Medicine.
