Rising Sun has been such a welcoming and comfortable place for so many people in our community to experience and build a solid foundation with the physical postures but also learn how to slow down, breathe fully and be ok with being still long enough to appreciate yourself! Allowing yourself this time and opportunity to feel grounded, connected and grateful for all the things can often be the most difficult task of all!
It’s pretty easy to get all caught up in the holiday hustle! Practicing gratitude not just on your mat but especially out in the wild is a great way to cope and get a better handle on the difficulties you might be dealing with! It always helps when you can choose to shift your own perspective to feel more calm and present. Hopefully you are able to practice the pause, appreciate a few deep breaths and be more mindful this year! What’s it all for if you can’t even enjoy it?!
Thank you all so much for the opportunity to share this kind of time and beautiful space with you over the last 6 years.
