Im so excited to be part of the WAHSET team in our new home town!

Meet our fourth and final new coach for the year!

Amy Perez recently moved from Graham, WA to Onalaska, WA and has joined our team as a back up coach. She floats around practices helping out and covering absences. Amy coached for 2 years up north and is happy to fill in wherever she can for WF West this year. She owns 3 horses of her own and has over 40 years experience with horses in showing breed shows, cattle sorting, team penning, barrel racing, pole bending and ranch riding. She trains horses and gives lessons from beginner to experienced. Amy is also a licensed veterinary technician and drives semi trucks for a living.

Busy last two days. Maggie got her 17th ride in the books, got to share some pemf with some new horse friends and finally back to coaching WAHSET after a long break from the virus closures and flooding causing cancelations of practice.

Big girl day for Maggie. She got to go to WAHSET practice today. First time seeing roping, a quad pulling a dummy, roping shutes, the most horses shes been with in an arena and dogs playing! And I didn't die lol. Ride number 13 in the books!

Got a ride in before the rain. Had to make sure he didn't care about the log truck in the driveway. Loud truck pipes save horse rider lives lol.

Ok, I've been pondering whether I should post this video as it has a lot of faults in it. BUT, this filly has come so far in such a short time! 3 years old, with our 12th ride ever, doing a pattern for an online ranch riding show. I can't thank Brianna Parnell enough for letting me come down to her place and spend the afternoon with her to help me get this done. It's been a long time since I started my own horse from the ground up. I guess I still got it lol.
