Happy Medical Business Office Day! They are the behind-the-scenes problem solvers who help keep everything running smoothly. Before a bill ever goes out, they carefully review claims to make sure everything is accurate, because even the smallest detail can make a big difference with insurance!

Their work may not happen at the bedside, but it plays a vital role in keeping patient care moving forward every single day.

This morning, we had a great time participating in the Grocery Grab in Onawa at Sunshine Foods! 🛒✨

With 14 teams competing, the event brought the community together for a great cause, supporting local food pantries. We were proud to be part of such a meaningful effort!

Representing Burgess were Lynn Wold, CEO; Grady Warner, Vice President of IT; and Bobbi Johnson, Foundation Director.

Teams had just 3 minutes to grab as many items as possible from a provided list and race across the finish line before time ran out; talk about a challenge! ⏱️

The Burgess team rose to the occasion, collecting over $900 worth of groceries and taking home the award for Best Decorated Cart & Most Team Spirit! 🎉🏆

Join us April 11th for our Annual Community Health Fair—Firefly will be there!

Firefly provides gap-filling screening services for families in Western Iowa. They provide 1st Five, Child and Adolescent Health, Oral Health, and Healthy Pregnancy Program services.

At the fair, they’ll provide free screenings for:

Oral health, hearing, vision, and lead (ages 0–5)
Adolescent depression (ages 12–18)

Stop by their booth to take advantage of these important services and learn about the resources they provide to families!
