Did you know Yoga can help with digestion?
If you're feeling a little full after Thanksgiving, yoga can stimulate the digestive system by activating the parasympathetic nervous system.
Contrary to popular belief this stimulation of the digestion system isn't always done by a fast and hard workout, but actually by slower movements and breathing.
What happens to the body when you sleep at night? Your body repairs itself. Yoga kind of copies this process by signaling to the body it's time to rest and digest.
So we will do some standing postures and activate the core (abs), but we will also focus on twisting and forward folding postures for the digestive system.

*Mats are provided, but limited if you have your own. Blocks and blankets are also provided to support your practice.
