Heart diseases can reduce the flow of oxygen to your legs and feet, causing non-healing ulcers. Our Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center specializes in treating these ulcers with hyperbaric oxygen (HBO2) therapy, which encourages your blood to carry more oxygen to the affected area to enhance the healing process. For more information about HBO2 therapy, call (315) 361-2268 or visit https://www.oneidahealth.org/wound-care-and-hyperbaric-medicine-center/.

Heart disease doesn’t just affect your heart—it can also reduce blood flow, oxygen, and vital nutrients your body needs to repair wounds. When circulation is limited, even small cuts or sores may take much longer to heal. Paying attention to heart health can actually help your skin and tissues recover faster and stay healthier.

Call our wound center at (315) 361-2268 for more information.

Every day, compassion shows up in a thousand small ways.
Sometimes it’s a quiet moment of comfort.
Sometimes it’s teamwork when someone needs a hand.
And sometimes, it’s a spark of kindness that changes an entire day.
This quarter, 12 extraordinary individuals reminded us what it means to care with purpose and lead with heart.

Congratulations to Dr. Klotz, Eliza, Anita Julie, Jackie, Kaley, Kendra, Nina, Suzy, Sarah, Kayla, and Kim.

These Caring Stars didn’t just do their jobs —
they brightened someone’s day, eased someone’s worry, or lifted someone’s workload.
And that’s the kind of excellence worth celebrating. 💛
Thank you for lighting the way this quarter.
Your care is felt, seen, and deeply appreciated.
