Sleep affects everything! I am excited to share this program that is self-paced and completely accessible through your phone (on an app called Soundwise). As someone who has build up a toolbox for sleep improvement for 30 years, it was rewarding to put an easy to follow program together to share. Follow either link to purchase and start sleeping better- you deserve it.

Hey music lovers! Want to have a say in who gets to wave the baton at the Catskill Symphony Orchestras next Concert? Here are some ways to vote for your favorite guest conductor (ME!):
Use your voice (and your fingers) to cast your vote online! Vote generously, every dollar counts and the candidate who raises the most wins! A huge big sincere thank you to anyone who has already donated!!

Vote with your wallet and often at CatskillSymphony.org/cabaret OR

Click this link to donate to my Campaign now: GiveButter.com/CSOMaryEllen OR

Text MARYELLEN to 53-555 to donate! OR

Buy tickets to the concert, but don’t forget your wallet for the silent auction and to vote again generously and often!

Write my name on a piece of paper, fold it into a paper airplane, and throw it onto the stage (just kidding, please don't do this).

Here are a few reasons why supporting live music and orchestras is so important:

1 - Live music provides a sense of community and connection that is often lost in our digital age. Attending a concert and experiencing the music together creates a shared experience that can bring us closer together.
2 - Orchestras provide opportunities for musicians to share their talents and grow as artists. Without orchestras, many aspiring musicians would never have the chance to perform at a professional level.
3 - Orchestras also play an important role in our local economy, generating jobs and revenue for our community. From musicians to stagehands to marketing and sales, there are many people involved in the production of a concert or performance.
4 - Finally, live music and orchestras are simply beautiful! The power of music to move us, inspire us, and touch our hearts is undeniable. By supporting live music and orchestras, we are preserving an important cultural tradition for future generations to enjoy.

Kristen Sloth's kids, my kids and I are in this really fun show! Opening night tonight!

Be sure to make plans this weekend to see the show that’s making all the headlines! NEWSIES opens TOMORROW, March 18th with a showtime at 7:30 PM. You also have chances to experience this production Saturday, March 19th at 7:30 PM and Sunday, March 20th at 3 PM.

Secure your tickets now online at www.orpheustheatre.org or get them at the door starting one hour to showtime.

Set in the year 1899 in New York City, Newsies is inspired by a true story and tells the tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy, and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies." When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys' expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right!

Based on the 1992 motion picture, Newsies features a Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken (Little Shop of Horrors, Sister Act) and Jack Feldman and a book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein (Kinky Boots). Featuring the now classic songs “Carrying the Banner,” “Seize the Day,” and “Santa Fe,” Newsies is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message, perfect for the whole family and every audience.

Experience this event this weekend only, performing at the Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta.

General admission tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors 65+ and $10 for children and students 17 and under.

Presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.

See you at the show!!

Orpheus Theatre is committed to providing a safe theatrical experience for all involved. Audience members are asked to wear a mask regardless of current mandates and/or vaccination status.

Greetings, Friends! I am excited to be offering a 6 week Zoom group that incorporates community, meaning, ritual practice and relaxing hypnosis starting in November. Each week we all choose a particular ritual to practice around a theme--might be a morning ritual, evening ritual, gratitude ritual, etc... We then share our experiences when we meet the following week. Each session ends with relaxing, rejuvenating self-hypnosis. I am running two groups, one on Sundays at noon and one on Tuesday evenings (participants choose which time works best when they register on my website). Groups are approx. 90 minutes long. There is a registration fee of $179 for the group (which covers all 6 weeks), as this is part of my hypnosis biz. Thank you and wishing you all well!
