Due to the pending snow, the Catskill Center for Independence’s office, both Oneonta & Cobleskill, will be closed tomorrow. Staff will be working from home, so don’t hesitate to call for services.

It is evident that the significant impact of Independent Living Centers (ILCs) on the disabled community is not matched by sufficient funding and representation in the budget, despite their proven value. This call to action is particularly relevant for those who know someone with a disability.

Our Independent Living Center's help ANYONE with a disability and their families. We save the State millions and millions of dollars each year by providing the services our Government does not. Each year the cost of living & operating costs goes higher, yet we continually get underfunded and are often the first programs to be cut.

You can help by reaching out to your representatives or flooding the Governors office with us Monday February 9, 2026 at the Legislative Office Building in Albany. If you or someone you know have a disability, please share this!
