If you missed the last update, here’s the scoop:
Our wonderful neighbors on West Broadway have challenged us to run, walk, or trot your way to 52 West Broadway—and bring along non-perishable food donations!

They’ll have collection boxes ready for canned goods to support local food banks, and the impact goes even further:
✨ For every can donated, they’ll give $1 to Helios Care
✨ Their employer will match it—bringing the total to $2 per item
✨ Up to $1,000 in matched donations!

Let’s show up, give back, and make a real difference together.

Today is National Children’s Grief Awareness Day.
In the United States, 1 in 12 children will experience the loss of a parent or sibling before the age of 18. At Helios Care, we are committed to ensuring that children in our community feel supported and less alone as they navigate the pain of losing someone they love.

To help meet this need, we offer Kids Camp Forget-Me-Not and our Coping Kits for Children:

✨ Camp Forget-Me-Not provides a safe, nurturing space where children can explore their feelings through guided activities and the support of trained grief professionals.
✨ Our Coping Kits include age-appropriate crafts and projects designed to help children express their emotions and begin meaningful conversations about their grief. These kits are free and available for school-aged children.

If you would like more information about Camp Forget-Me-Not or would like to request a Coping Kit for a child in need, please contact our office at (607) 432-5525.

Each ornament placed on the trees honor someone special, and seeing them all together creates a beautiful display of connection, memory, and community. 🌟
