January 2026 Newsletter
Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you well and that you were able to find moments of rest during the holiday season. As we move into January, I wanted to share a few important updates and reminders.
Transition to Headway – Effective 1/1/26
Beginning January 1, 2026, I will officially be transitioning my medical record and billing system from SimplePractice to Headway.
As part of this transition, there is a required form that must be completed for billing purposes. Please be sure to:
• Log into your Headway account
• Review and sign the required form as soon as possible
Once this form is completed, Superbills can be generated and sent automatically each month, which may help streamline reimbursement if you submit claims to your insurance independently. Completing this form is essential to avoid billing disruptions and to access this feature.
If you have any questions or run into issues, please feel free to text or email me.
Appointments & Scheduling
All appointment requests will continue to be made through my website and Square:

A Self-Compassion Pause
This week, try offering yourself a brief pause grounded in self-compassion:
1. Place a hand over your heart or another area that feels comforting.
2. Silently acknowledge: “This is a hard moment.”
3. Remind yourself: “I’m allowed to move at my own pace.”
You might journal on this prompt:
“Where am I putting pressure on myself right now, and what would it look like to soften — even slightly?”
This practice isn’t about fixing anything, but about meeting yourself with kindness in the moment.
A Note on Flexibility & Understanding
Thank you for your patience and understanding over the past few weeks. With the holidays and seasonal illnesses, flexibility has been greatly appreciated. I remain committed to supporting you while also navigating this time of year with care and balance.
As always, please reach out via text or email if you have any questions.
Warmly,
Karla Weidman, LCAT, CASAC, PMH-C
