Just a little reminder to double, triple and quadruple check your horses! With this cool air they may be feeling fresh and with the wet ground they may take a tumble. One of mine sure did a number on herself. Thanking the Lord a little extra tonight for blessing me with the knowledge I have, and for the tools to help her recover. A quick reminder of my pricing:

Massage:
1-2 head $70 each
3-4 head $60 each
5 or more head $50 each

Red Light:
$15 for 15 minute sessions
$30 for 30 minute sessions

Lasers:
$2 per minute - 2 minute sessions per area treated

KT Tape:
$2.50 per foot for 2 inch tape
$3.50 per foot for 3 inch tape

Trip:
Depends on how far I go and how many horses I’m treating. Anywhere from $10-$30.

“Do you travel? If so how far?”

This is one of my most frequently asked questions. The answer is yes I most definitely do as long as I have enough horses to cover my trip.

This last weekend I had the opportunity to head up north to Long Praire and Deer Creek Minnesota to treat horses within the Amish communites. This is about a 6 hour trek one way and I will typically treat around 20 head.

Pictured below are two horses I treated with lower leg injuries/conditions. The first has suffered an injury and has had a recurring abscess. I lasered and taped the area to improve circulation and draw out fluid. The second horse suffers from arthritis so I lasered and taped him for joint support and circulation.

Instant relief is what I like to see!

The treatment plan for this horse included massage and kinesiology tape. When massaging him I found he was tight in his left hip and along his spine. Therefore I did a spinal taping on him and when I taped his hip, I taped him in the direction I got him to release during the massage. Doing this allowed him to release further (yawning, licking and chewing as shown) and aided in relieving more tension where he was sore.

My favorite part about treating horses this way is that KT tape can stay on for up to 72 hours. This means that after I leave your horse is still being treated for the next 3 days!

Red light and Laser Therapy 🐎

My red light and my lasers are some of my favorite little tools. I have had some great success in using this modality as a bodyworker. I have seen open flesh wounds heal faster and with less scar tissue, kill off proud flesh, open abscesses and so much more.

Infrared light therapy works by activating the body’s cells, specifically the mitochondria which is the cells powerhouse. As the light stimulates the cells, their energy production enhances which improves circulation. Good circulation is key in tissue repair.

Some benefits include:

• Pain relief

• Reduce swelling/inflammation

• Enhanced Muscle Recovery

• Boosts immune system

• Wound healing

One thing about me, there will always be paper scraps in my mouth when I’m taping horses.

Kinesiology taping is one of my favorite modalities that I do to treat horses. This tape can stay on your horses for up to 72 hours. Therefore after I leave your horse is still being treated.

Some benefits of Kinesiology tape include:

• Increased circulation

• Relieves muscle soreness/tension

• Reduces inflammation

• Pain relief from injury or conditions such as laminitis, arthritis and navicular

• Joint support

Massage Therapy 💪🏻

There are many benefits to having your horses massaged. Some of these benefits include:

* Improved flexibility and range of motion

*Promote muscle recovery

*Enhances circulation

*Relieves muscle tension and soreness

*Stress Relief

How often you get your horse massaged all depends on the state of your horse and how heavy you are exercising them. I typically recommend every 4-6 weeks.

Full Body Massage (deep tissue) normally $70 will be $50 tonight

Pre-event Massage (light tissue) $40

Red Light therapy $15

Red/Cold Laser $1 per minute

KT tape $2.50 per foot

For 2025 my prices and services are staying the same.

Massage: 1-2 head $70 per horse, 3-4 head $60 per horse, 5 or more $50 per horse

Red Light: $15 for 15 minute treatments, $30 for 30 min treatments

Cold and Red laser: $1 per minute

Kiniesiology taping (KT tape): 2 inch tape $2 per foot, 3 inch tape $3 per foot

Travel: Depends on how far I’m going and the services provided. Typically anywhere from $10-$30 if I charge.

This last week I had the pleasure of going to Long Praire, Milaca and Belgrade Minnesota to work on some horses in the Amish communities up there and boy did they keep me busy! The opportunities I have to travel with the work I do is just amazing. Thank you so much to everyone who has trusted me to massage their horses over the years. I greatly appreciate each and every one of you!

Now to all the barrel racer, cattle sortin and ropers out there, there is a new arena that just went up in Belgrade, Minnesota called Smilin’ D Arena. Dave, the man who owns and runs this place, built this arena for his grandkids to get them out of the house and in the saddle. He truly did a spectacular job and runs quite the show! If you are in search of a new arena to ride at go check out Smilin’ D. You won’t be disappointed!

Full Body Massage: $50

Pre-event Massage: $40
20-30 minutes - light to medium pressure

Red Light Therapy will be $5 off a treatment!
(Normally $15, tonight $10)

Laser Therapy will be $1 off a treatment!
(Red Laser normally $2 a treatment - Cold Laser Normally $3 a treatment)

Hey everyone! It’s been a minute. I wanted to hop on here and share my services and pricings now that the Summer Season is starting back up!

Services Include:

Full Body Massage, Kinesiology Taping, Red Light Therapy, and I am now offering Laser Therapy.

Pricing:

•Massage:
~ 1-2 head $70 each horse
~ 3-4 head $60 each horse
~ 5 or more $50 each horse

•Kinesiology Tape
~ $2.00 a foot
~ $20 a roll

•Red Light Therapy:
~ $15 for 15 minute sessions
~ $30 for 30 minute sessions

•Laser Therapy:
~ $2 a minute
Laser penetrates 2 inches into the horses tissue meaning that sessions are shorter per area. I treat each area that is about the circumference of the laser itself for two minutes, and move to the next spot after that 2 minutes.

My travel fee goes by how far I am going and how many horses I will be treating. I generally go by gas prices and how much I am using. If I travel 2 or more hours for one horse then I go by mileage which is .52 cents a mile.
