Mardi Gras brought the color and energy to East Hamilton. ⚜️

Our Lantern residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with festive music, bright masks, and plenty of smiles. The King Cake Walk was a highlight, with residents circling to lively New Orleans-inspired tunes, hoping to win a sweet slice of king cake. 🎭🥳

They also sampled Cajun favorites like shrimp and grits and warm, flavorful gumbo, making it a celebration of both flavor and fun. The room was full of laughter, movement, and connection — exactly what makes days like this so special.

Our residents had a wonderful time creating colorful Mardi Gras masks inspired by the traditions of New Orleans. Feathers, glitter, gems, and bold decorations covered the tables as laughter and conversation filled the room. 🎭

Cupid’s Café was a sweet afternoon in East Hamilton. 💕🎶

Our Lantern residents gathered to enjoy strawberry cheesecake, chocolate-covered strawberries, charcuterie cups, and refreshing Shirley Temples mocktails. As they visited and laughed together, they shared their favorite love songs — even the songs they danced to on their wedding day.

Acoustic versions of those special songs played in the background, creating a warm, relaxed atmosphere filled with memories and meaningful conversation. To top it off, a custom vinyl record was created as a keepsake from the celebration.

Moments like this help residents stay connected to the season of love while honoring the stories that mean so much. ❤️
