Along the way, we’ll be recognizing World Parkinson’s Day, Volunteer Appreciation Week, Earth Day, and Administrative Professionals Day, while also highlighting Poetry Month and Occupational Therapy Month.

As part of our Morning Pointe in Motion virtual travel program and our Year of Flavor theme, April is all about the sights, sounds, and tastes of New Orleans, Louisiana. Think beignets, Creole cuisine, jazz music, and plenty of ways to experience the culture right from our communities.

From themed activities to flavorful moments, there are so many ways to join in and have fun with this month’s destination. ⚜️

One of those days you wish you could bottle up 🐣💛

Our Community Egg Hunt was filled with laughter, sweet treats, and so many special moments. Residents and visiting children shared time together, enjoying everything from petting Easter bunnies and chicks to taking photos with the Easter Bunny.

Guests cooled off with snow cones and enjoyed a variety of spring finger foods thanks to our amazing food service team, while excitement filled the air during not one, but three festive egg hunts. It was a day full of energy, connection, and memories in the making.

These are the moments that remind us how meaningful it is to bring generations together and celebrate the season side by side 🐰🌷

Our April theme, Easter Extravaganza, is filled with all the fun that comes with the season, from egg hunts and visits with the Easter Bunny to dyeing eggs and enjoying all kinds of spring-themed activities.

It’s a full month of color, laughter, and moments that bring people together, including special opportunities to connect across generations.

Spring has officially sprung at the Lantern. 🌷☀️🌿

Residents welcomed the first day of spring with a joyful Spring Fling full of laughter, sunshine, and hands-on fun. From fishing and catching rubber ducks to friendly games of co****le and horseshoes, the day was filled with moments that brought everyone together.

A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers, Taylor, Kaitlin, and Shane, for jumping in and making the day even more special. Residents also enjoyed popsicles, jello, and festive spring treats to stay cool while celebrating.

One of the highlights was planting a beautiful herb garden, decorated with rocks residents painted and personalized themselves. A creative touch that made the day even more meaningful as memories began to bloom right alongside it. 💛
