Holiday loneliness is real. If the holidays feel heavy this year, consider this a gentle reminder: You’re not alone — even if it feels that way. Your feelings are valid, your pace working through hardship is your own, and your presence matters. Going for a walk, inviting your neighbor over for hot cocoa, starting a creative project, or saying yes to the invite for the holiday party are just a few ways to make connections and help you get through the holidays.

As the days get shorter and the weather turns colder, many people start to feel a little more tired, down, or unmotivated. For some, it’s more than just the “winter blues”, it’s Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a type of depression linked to changes in seasons.

You’re not alone, and support is available! Daily habits, counseling, and neurofeedback are just a few ways to help your mind and mood adjust through the darker months.

Let’s take care of ourselves and each other this season.
