Our community has the opportunity to stand beside a new generation of Auburn students changing children’s health close to home.

For more than 14 years, Auburn University students raised millions for children’s hospitals through Dance Marathon. This year, they made a bold decision to bring that impact home.

Now rebranded as Auburn University Dream Makers, these students are supporting neonatal and pediatric care at East Alabama Health through fundraising, volunteering, and family connection.

They’ve already logged over 90 volunteer hours in our NICU and pediatric units - and they’re just getting started.

Now they need our community behind them.

Sponsorships and donations are now open ahead of the February 21 Main Event. Every gift directly supports pediatric care at East Alabama Health.

Yesterday, we celebrated an important step forward for mental health care in our region with the opening of the Center for Mental Health at EAMC North.

This new freestanding facility expands psychiatric inpatient capacity to 40 beds and brings East Alabama Psychiatric Services together under one roof, strengthening access to compassionate care for individuals and families across East Alabama.

We were honored to gather alongside state and local legislators, community partners, and the generous donors whose belief and support made this vision possible.

This center represents more than expanded services. It reflects the power of a community that chooses dignity, healing, and hope for those who need it most.

As we look ahead to the opening of the Center for Mental Health: EAMC North, we are deeply grateful for a community that chose to show up with compassion and purpose. This center exists because of generosity, trust, and a shared belief that care should meet people where they are. Because of you, support will be closer, lives will be touched, and hope will be felt.
