Meet our new occupational therapist, Mia!! ⭐️

Mia Rehm, OTD, OTR/L, received her B.S. in Rehabilitation and Disabilities Studies from Auburn University and her OTD in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During her fieldwork experiences, Mia found a passion for helping her clients boost their independence and find joy in their daily activities. Mia enjoys spending time with her husband and their pets, being creative in the kitchen, spending time outdoors, and reading books.

💥Moro Reflex😲

Did you know, after 6 months old, the Moro Reflex shouldn’t be present? If not integrated properly and timely, it can look like lots of things including:

⭐️Motion sickness
⭐️Decreased eye contact
⭐️Allergies, poor immune system
⭐️Poor hand-eye coordination and poor visual control
⭐️Light and sound sensitivity
⭐️Anxiety and mood swings

During this week, your child’s session will be outdoors with water based therapeutic activities.

Please have your child wear water clothes, sunscreen, and swim diaper (if not potty trained), and bring a towel. 🕶️🧴🩱
